New Digitals and DREAMS (HALF COME TRUE!!!)
Happy Monday! Well, it feels like a Monday in my case, just got back to LA and am currently blogging from the dressing room at JustFab.
After my ONE (lol) hardcore week of working out, I took some digitals with Wilhelmina. Partly just to have an update to send to clients, and partly because Wilhelmina decided they wanted to send my digitals to SPORTS ILLUSTRATED!!! Being in their swim issue has been a dream of mine. Lately, I've been torn between wanting to be conservative and just thinking that it is a HUGE career rocketing job. Let's just see how far I can get first ;)
During digitals day, we also recorded a video with rewritten lyrics to the Big E Smalls song.

So cute, right?! Shout out Ali and Dan for writing it. Anyway, being my weird and crazy self, we made a video of me rapping it in a bikini, and Dan sent it on in. One of the cooler moments of this process was seeing ALL of the Wilhelmina agents (even the ones who scare me / I don't work with) gathered around a computer laughing and loving how it turned out.
The day after digitals and finishing filming my movie, I landed in Oregon and had just been picked up by Dev when I get my favorite call that gives me butterflies everytime the name and picture comes up - from Wilhelmina. It was Ali calling to tell me SI LOVED ME AND WANTS ME TO COME IN TO MEET THEM! Now, when starting this process, Dan told me he doesn't care if it's my Mom's birthday party, if SI likes me, I get on a plane and go. So here's how it's going to happen - day 1- fly to NY, 5 hours, meet with Willy NY. Maybe find a friend and eat food. Sleep. Day 2- Meet with SI. Fly home that night. Day 3- fly to Hawaii. That's 3 days of flying, my GOODNESS! At first they wanted me to come in one of the days I was in Hawaii. I was devastated because I knew I had to go. (Well...bittersweetly devastated?) Thank you LORD JESUS, they changed it to before my family Hawaii trip.
