FITNESS JOURNEY
Good morning and good night, my dears! Today we are talking fitness. I am not selling you anything, no teas, not some cheesy fluffy interview on how to get a good body with answers like “i just run and do pilates!’. Today i am asking you to keep me accountable, and getting a bit emotional with you. (Well, as emotional as you can get about fitness.) With the way i eat, i should not be a model. I love food too much! Honestly, I don’t even think its the food, i am addicted to the atmosphere and routine of going out to eat. Our world is SO centered around food. “want to get lunch? bunch? Meet for a bite?” Otherwise, if you don’t meet at a restaurant, what is there to do? Sit and talk? Haha. But all of that caries into eating way more calories than cooking at home. Even at the poshiest healthy LA restaurants. I want to share some pictures with you. The “before”s are taken when i wasn’t living in LA, and was only modeling in Oregon. I remember feeling super hot and asking everyone to take photos of me, and after I shed the weight my boyfriend told me “Yea, i was happy you were confident, and I obviously love you and always think you’re beautiful, but you were not caring about your weight and were not model size. I wanted to say something.” Sometimes, i get in my head that i am invincible. For weeks I will think “i am eating so good, i can eat these fries here! I can get this fray now!” But i will keep that mentality EVERY DAY! Every day becomes a cheat day. Even for non-models, that is not healthy eating. My weight is a roller coaster. I am usually able to keep it down, and before a big shoot i will really work at it and eat like a rabbit. Recently tho, i am realizing that is not a way to live. What i eat should be a LIFESTYLE, not a quickie. For example, if i am really craving frozen yogurt, i won’t eat during the day and then have that for dinner. That sounds like some weird eating disorder, but its pretty normal if i wake up around 11am and am running around stings all day, with some almonds or a bar in my bag. But its not HEALTHY.
So, to the point of this article! I want you to embark on this LIFESTYLE journey with me. I am starting back up with my trainer Brad Brisbin (@BradBrisbin) who is a nutritionalist and trainer to the stars.I will also be using @ModelMealsKitchen for my food deliveries. Ill do weekly progress posts and food breakdowns.
Take a look at the photos below- Currently, my weight is fine. My career is better than its ever been, i work almost everyday, and i am living the life i always wanted. But I want my mentality to be better. I want to live the lifestyle as a model, not fake it with juices and cleanses. If you see french fries on my snapchat, yell at me!
